VERA OKOREE

Vera is a Mental Health Technician at Healing Practice Counseling and primarily works with children and adolescents ages 3 to 18. She brings over five years of experience supporting youth in both educational and clinical settings and is passionate about helping children develop healthy coping skills and resilience. Before joining HPC, Vera served as a Research Assistant at Penn State University’s Context and Development Lab (CDL), where she supported projects focused on child and family development. She is currently studying at UMGC with plans to expand her career in the field of psychology and is committed to becoming a School Psychologist. Vera’s dedication to children’s growth and well-being is evident in her collaborative, compassionate approach with both clients and families.
