Healing Practice Counseling, Inc. (HPC) has a commitment to making psychotherapy safer and more equitable for people of a global majority, as well as those who identify as LGBTQIAP+. Our group practice aspires to develop a clinical team that demonstrates multicultural counseling competence skills and a dedication to effectively providing treatment to all populations seeking mental health services.
MISSION
We are on a mission to create a collective organization “Wellness Center” within our community, Takoma Park Maryland. We're an organization that fights for policies that reduce psychological harm by creating a robust therapeutic community and increases education surrounding the safe and ethical use of Ketiamine/psychedelics in our clinical setting, as a modality for healing.
We create initiatives that deeply impact the quality of life for marginalized communities, by facilitating a therapeutic alliance based on a wellness model rooted in the wholistic approach psychedelics paired with therapy can provide, while also considering equally the spiritual, emotional, mental and physical aspects of the person on their healing journey.
